Supporting Education

Access to education is the right of every child, yet in Cambodia many children miss out on even completing their primary school education. 

In 2011 HUSK has launched its "Supporting Education" program.  This program will provide bikes and school uniforms to the children primarily in Type 1 families to help ensure the children have a better chance of attending school.

The initial program will work with 30 children in Kompheim Village and approximtley 10 children in Treak Village (Treak Village requirements are still being finalised).

In Feb 2011 the first 30 bikes and 60 sets of uniforms were delivered to families in Kompheim Village.
