A very big thank you to everyone who participated in our 2nd BWB day on Sep 16th.   The program of work on the 26th involved the construction of vegetable patches for two households and planting of fruit trees.  We also coordinated through the parents and school to distribute pens, pencils and books that had been donated.  These items were handed directly to the school children by the team in keeping with the parents wishes.

Both the Em and Hia families are type one families living in Kompheim village.  The struggle to meet their families daily needs often missing meals.

27/11/10 - Update

Hia 
She has really taken on the vegetables garden with a passion and has been getting very good results. To date they have harvested water spinach and cucumber and are now crowing a crop of pumpkins.

Em
The Em family was one of the families helped on the last BWB day. They have been using their vegetable patch and have had regular harvests of Morning glory. The fruit trees are doing really well and they have a good crop of pumpkin growing
