Since we installed four new composting toilets following the modified design (different to our initial design at the school) we have been regularly checking back with the families to make sure there are no problems and to gather feedback on the systems.

We are very pleased with the results so far. All the toilets are being used. Each toilet was clean and there were no smell issues at all from any system. We identified that some additional training is needed to ensure that waste is fully covered with rice husks. This training will be conducted over the next week. The results so far are really positive and successful.
