HUSK is a Cambodian registered NGO formed by the owners of The Villa Siem Reap and Sojourn, Fiona and Anthony along with Sreah Leak one of our Senior Managers. HUSK was formed to enable us to formalize the charitable work undertaken through our two businesses.

For us running a business in Cambodia went hand in hand with helping the community we had been lucky enough to choose to call home. We made the firm commitment to operate and manage in ways that would benefit the local community and environment. Through the expansion of our businesses we also expanded the work we undertake in the community. Over almost five years our connection with the local community has grown and our initiatives to help improve conditions within village communities have expanded. In late 2009 following relief efforts from Typhoon Ketsana, the decision was made to formalize the charitable works both businesses undertake, and together with Sreah Leak register our NGO, and so a new chapter begins with HUSK.
